2007 Advanced Skywarn Training

Wednesday, April 22, 2007
Richard Kane, from the NOAA/NWS Office in Pittsburgh, conducted an Advanced Skywarn Training for the Cal U students and the local residents. Aside from the basic training that is given to regular Skywarn observers, this training went into much further depth. In depth features included WSR-88D radar, skew-t log-p diagrams and much more. As special thanks to Rich Kane for a great talk to help the audience understand the undergoing aspects of severe weather. Click here for more information on the Skywarn Program.
