Three meteorology students, Jon Jennings, Reece Todd and Kyle Olmstead, attended the 2007 Fayette County Rib Cook-Off as the officialy observers for at the vendors at the festival. Current temperature and wind measurments were taken on each hour and recorded for insurance purposes. Fortuantely, this year's cook-off was a huge success with warm temperature and sunny skies.
