Itinerary

The Southwest Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Meteorological Society is proud to welcome Jonathan Howell, California University graduate 1997, on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 11:00 A.M in Eberly Science and Technology Room 110 as the first Spring Colloquium Speaker.  After obtaining a Master’s Degree from Mississippi State University, Mr. Howell landed a job in Memphis, Tennessee as a forecaster for the National Weather Service.  His presentation entitled “Inside View of National Weather Service Operations & Severe Weather Case Study” will look into a recent severe weather outbreak in Memphis.  A short question and answer session will follow the interactive-style discussion, and the California graduate also plans to help guide students towards future job opportunities.
