Mr. Richard R. Brandt 

Rick Brant is a 1997 graduate from California University of Pennsylvania department of Earth Sciences. His post school experiences have yielded many exciting opportunities for him including a master’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Texas Tech University and a pending PhD in Geography from the University of Arizona.

Some of Rick’s career experiences have taken him to the National Weather Service of Lubbock TX and during the summer of 2004 he worked an assistant forecaster for the North American Monsoon Experiment. He was an ABD and a graduate research associate with the institute for the study of Planet Earth at the University of Arizona. Rick defended his Disseration in late May 2006, and has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor of Geography at Salem State College in Salem, MA (just north of Boston), beginning in the fall of 2006. http://www.dgl.salemstate.edu
