Mission Statement

The mission of the Sports Clubs Program within the Department of Recreational Services and Student Development and Services is to provide students the opportunity for personal growth and development through competitive sports interaction amongst intercollegiate competition.  Each Sports Club is a means to provide a well rounded educational experience through physical, social, and leadership development.  The Sports Clubs Program mission is to enhance each club and provide the best available resources, and to promote each participant not only as a student, but a student-athlete inside and outside the educational classroom and on the playing field.

Getting Involved With an Existing Club

Anyone interested in joining a sports club please email the respective club president for information. 

Forming a New Club

Anyone interested in forming a sports club please email Jamison Roth, Director of Club Sports at roth_j@cup.edu.

Presidential Sports Club Council

Formed in the Spring of 2009, the Presidential Sports Club Council (PSCC) is comprised of the Presidents of each of the 14 Sports Clubs.  They hold meetings biweekly and oversee all of the Sports Clubs.  Together the group is working towards unified community service projects, fundraising projects, and scholarships. 
 
Mission Statement:
The mission of the council will be to organize all of the Sports Clubs as one unified body acting under a set of by-laws constructed by the Presidents of each Sports Club as well as to provide cohesiveness to the Sports Clubs and allow students the opportunity to work together towards a determined goal.
