Cal U Veterans AffairsNew StudentsWelcome to California University of Pennsylvania! We hope this site and our organization can help you through the administrative process and guide you in the right direction through the educational system, while maximizing your VA benefits. We would like to remind you to take these steps in order to begin receiving benefits when you arrive at Cal U: 1. Take your DD-214 to your respective County Courthouse and have them make an official copy. They will keep that copy and should you lose the one you have, they will supply you with a new one rather than ordering one through the U.S. National Archives & Records Administration. 2. If you are unemployed the day your enlistment ends, you should visit the Pennsylvania Department of Labor office. 3. The Veterans Affairs Office is open year round, M-F, from 8-4:30pm.
