The purpose of the Geology Club is to promote the subject of geology and the earth sciences by sponsoring speakers, field trips, and social events. By doing so, the Club offers to members enrichment experiences in the discipline outside the classroom. Some club functions are held in conjunction with Sigma Gamma Epsilon, the Earth Sciences Honorary Society.
