The P.E.A.C.E. Project - Services
Education Center
The P.E.A.C.E. Project is located at G45 Carter Hall. The Education Center is staffed Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. Trained graduate students and staff members are available to provide information and answer questions. The center also has a multitude of informational brochures, books, training manuals and videos. Visitors are welcome and encouraged to browse or borrow the resources!
Advocacy Center
An important mission of the P.E.A.C.E Project is to meet the needs of survivors and their loved ones. The Advocacy Center is located at G45 Carter Hall. A trained staff member is available to provide advocacy and support. An Advocate can assist you at any point in the healing process and can assist you on campus as well as provide medical and legal advocacy. Regular office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. However, appointments can be made to accommodate schedules. The Advocacy Center services are free and confidential.
The Student Sexual Response Team (SSART) is a student-operated organization on campus that collaborates with the P.E.A.C.E. Project. SSART is comprised of trained volunteers who provide advocacy in crisis situations 24 hours a day 7 days a week. SSART volunteers are trained by the Crime Victims' Center program.
