The central focus of the Student Development and Services division is the personalization of the university experience, with concern for individual intellectual development and personal, social, leadership, and physical development. The division is committed to recognizing and assisting in the full realization of student potential. This includes supporting the University's bill of rights and responsibilities, incorporating continuous improvement into all programs and activities, promoting community service, diversity, to instill the culture of philanthropy throughout the student body. To nominate a deserving December 2009 graduate (students may nominate themselves) for a Distinguished Service Award, contact any Student Government member or email stugov@calu.edu with why you feel the outstanding student should be nominated. Deadline for submissions for nominations: October 30th!
Nominations are being accepted for Undergraduate & Graduate Students for FALL 2009 "WHO’S WHO AMONG STUDENTS IN AMERICAN COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES" for August and December 2009 GRADUATES. Scholarships in the amount of $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000 will be awarded by Who’s Who Nationwide! NOMINATION PACKET CAN BE OBTAINED FROM The Office of Student Development & Services, Room 230, Natali Student Center, or request by email: stu_studev@calu.edu . Students may nominate themselves.
