The mission of the health center

is to provide high quality health care for our students; to direct our students to other health care providers when appropriate; to provide emergency care for all members of the university community; to promote the holistic concept of a healthful lifestyle for the university community; to address the specific health needs of student population segments with special problems; and to conceive, develop and implement relevant health education programs for the university community.

Delivery of high-quality health care

is the heart of the University Health Center. Our personal convictions and our legal obligations ensure that all areas of the University Health Center are under strict rules of confidentiality. All medical records are ABSOLUTELY CONFIDENTIAL. Medical information will only be released when authorized in writing by the student, by a court ordered subpoena, or to appropriate university officials in an emergency, if knowledge of the information is necessary to protect the health and safety of the student and other individuals.

Staff and Hours of Operation:

A medical director, nurse supervisor, certified registered nurse practitioner, and registered nurses staff the Student Health Center. The student health center hours are:

Monday - Friday 7 AM until 11 PM (Effective Fall 2004)
