CUTV
California University Television

CUTV is California University's television station, which is owned and operated by the Student Association, Incorporated. The purpose of CUTV is to support the educational mission of California University by providing education opportunities in television, utilizing students in leadership, production and talent roles. These "hands-on" roles will give students measurable educational experiences in technical areas like camera work, editing, graphics, producing and directing - as well as on-air announcing, reporting and acting skills. All these skills will be acquired, practiced and measured through various local productions for CUTV's program schedule. This schedule will also be a service to the area by providing programs of campus and regional community interest. This will be accomplished by airing national, regional and locally originated shows, consisting of contemporary and cultural entertainment, educational, informational and athletic programs to the campus and surrounding region. CUTV will reach it's intended audience through partnerships with various broadcast and cable operators. CUTV will also help provide video services for the University and its regional partners.
