S.T.A.N.D. (students taking a new direction) is an inter-denominational ministry that meets on Wednesday nights at 9:00pm in room 206/207 of the Natali Student Center. S.T.A.N.D. is designed to help students who are testing the waters of Christianity have a safe place to explore it along with helping those who would consider themselves followers of Christ grow deeper in their faith.
So whether you are just interested in just checking it out or building some close friendships and grow in your relationship with Christ come and join with us.
This is what happens each Wednesday night at S.T.A.N.D. We sing praise and worship songs, pray together, and have a local pastor or campus minister share a message from the Scriptures. We are also very active in serving the community and partnering with local churches.
The professional campus minister overseeing the group is sponsored by the United Christian Campus Ministry Council and the Coalition for Christian Outreach. The group is founded on the four pillars of Scripture, Prayer, Fellowship, and Service.
Contact our Campus Minister Pete Ware at stand@calu.edu with any other questions or to receive our calendar of events.
